Our licence fees cover the maintenance of individual flats and communal spaces, ensuring a well-kept and welcoming environment for all residents. Each flat features either a separate bedroom and sitting room or a combined bed/sitting room, along with a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

For those seeking shared living arrangements, we also offer several flats with spacious bedrooms suitable for double occupancy.

Clarence House offers inviting communal areas, including a comfortable lounge, a bright conservatory, and a beautifully maintained garden with a relaxing patio space, perfect for socializing or enjoying quiet moments outdoors.

Residents can stay connected with access to Wi-Fi in the communal lounge. Many choose to set up their own broadband in their flats. Additionally, every flat is equipped with Sky TV sockets, allowing residents to subscribe to their preferred entertainment services.

Independent Living with Community Dining

Each flat is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, allowing residents the freedom to prepare their own meals.

However, we provide a three-course meal every day, included in the licence fee, fostering a strong sense of community and encouraging social interaction.

We warmly welcome each new resident to Clarence House… On move-in day, we’ll explain all facilities, including the alarm and entry system. If you ever need a reminder, we’re happy to go over it again anytime.

Face to face contact is really important… We believe that face-to-face interaction is essential for fostering a strong community.

Commitment to Safety & Security

The safety of our residents is our top priority. Our fire alarm system is tested weekly and serviced annually. All necessary fire doors are in place, with automated closers where required.

We also conduct regular PAT testing on all electrical equipment and carry out a full wiring inspection every five years, maintaining a secure and well-maintained living environment.

Collaborative Care & Support

Clear communication is key to ensuring the best care for our residents. We work closely with community care agencies to coordinate support, making sure every resident’s needs are met with professionalism and compassion.

Emergency Support & Assistance

In the event of an emergency, we will promptly contact the necessary services, whether it’s requesting an ambulance or arranging a GP visit, ensuring residents receive the care they need without delay.

Caring Support When You Need It Most

If a resident falls ill, we act swiftly to ensure they receive the care they need. We’ll contact their doctor and family unless they prefer otherwise and help arrange the necessary support, providing comfort and peace of mind.

We take pride in maintaining all communal facilities at Clarence House, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. This includes the upkeep of lifts, lounges, guest rooms, gardens, kitchen, laundry areas, and all shared spaces.

We regularly clean communal areas and corridors, maintaining high standards of hygiene and repair to ensure a fresh, welcoming space every day.

Proactive Risk Management & Safety

We are committed to ensuring the safety of our residents, visitors, and staff through comprehensive risk management measures. Our Management Board maintains oversight of all potential risks, rigorously assessing their impact to safeguard the future of Clarence House.
